Getting started
How do I build my first timer?
Tap Create Timer, set work, rest and rounds on the wheels, then tap Start, or Save to keep it. The free plan keeps two timers.
What do sets and set break mean?
A set is a block of rounds. With 2 sets of 5 rounds you do 5 rounds, take the set break, then 5 more. Set its length in More Options.
Can I start from a template?
Yes. In the editor, tap Templates for Tabata, HIIT 30/30, EMOM, Boxing or Sprints, or start from one of your own timers.
Head Gestures & AirPods
Which AirPods work?
AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 2 or later, and AirPods Max. Turn on Head Gestures in Settings → Gestures & Calls and allow Motion & Fitness when iOS asks.
Why doesn’t my nod register?
Gestures count only near the end of a rest: a nod in the last 20 seconds (10, 20 or 30 in Settings), a shake in the last 10. Nod twice, clearly. Try It in Settings → Gestures & Calls → Head Gestures lets you practise.
Does it listen during work?
No, never during work. Only in the window at the end of a rest. The motion is read live on your iPhone and never stored.
Siri
What can I say to Siri?
“Start Leg Day in FourEver”, “Pause FourEver”, “Next interval in FourEver”, “End FourEver”, or ask “What’s my streak in FourEver?”. Siri and Shortcuts are part of Pro.
Siri doesn’t find FourEver
Say “FourEver”, like “forever”. Open the app once after installing so iOS learns its phrases, and check that Siri is allowed for FourEver Timer in Settings → Apps.
Does Siri work in my language?
FourEver speaks English, German, Russian and Ukrainian. Siri answers in the language Siri is set to on your iPhone.
Apple Watch & Health
Does the Watch need my iPhone nearby?
No. The Watch app runs timers on its own and syncs your timers and history with the iPhone when they are close. Start on either, and the other mirrors it.
How do I save workouts to Health?
On the Watch, choose Record Workouts (asked the first time, or in the Watch app’s Settings). Workouts are saved to Apple Health with heart rate and count toward your Activity rings.
Why does the Watch ask for Pro?
The Apple Watch app is part of FourEver Timer Pro. Start Pro on your iPhone, in Settings → Unlock Pro, and the Watch unlocks too.
Pro & billing
How do I restore my purchase?
In the app: Settings → Unlock Pro → Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you subscribed with.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
iCloud & your data
How do I turn on iCloud Sync?
It’s part of Pro and turns on by itself once you have Pro; you’ll find it in Settings → Data → iCloud Sync. Your timers and history then follow you to every device signed in to the same Apple Account.
How do I delete my history?
Settings → Data → Clear History, or swipe a session in History to delete just that one. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device.
How do I switch off usage data?
Settings → Privacy & Terms → Share Usage Data. It turns off usage statistics, crash reports and screen recordings at once.
